BEEDAUBIN ARTS STUDIO

Remember Me

Beedaubin Arts is inviting the survivors of loved ones who have lost their mothers, sisters, aunts or grandmothers to unsolved murders to find ways of remembering them.

A series of healing art gatherings inlcuding beadwork, sculpture, and film making will be held through April 2010 - to August 2010 in four communities in Northern Ontario. Art work will be created for personal healing and community awareness and education.

The stories, images and literature will be brought forward to community awareness presentations to schools, the police, the Crown Attornies, Judges and Youth organizations to help increase the safety and awareness of Aboriginal women.
